AGM 2017 - Report

This year's Selected European rally group A.G.M. was held in the beautiful Cotswolds town of Morton-in-Marsh in the grounds of the cricket club there, the rally started on Sunday 15th and ended on Tuesday 17th of October.
The meet and greet on Sunday afternoon went well, with all members old and new having a good chin-wag over a few drinks, the actual A.G.M. was held on Monday afternoon at 4 pm and the committee was re-elected unopposed. After a short break, we all gathered in the clubhouse for a large ploughman's lunch beautifully prepared by Chrisy, Pauline, Andrea, Val, and Jan a superb meal and lots of it, so thank you very much ladies for all you done, it was served with large quantities of delicious Red White and Rose' wine Hic!
Then to tax everyone brains a couple of quite difficult quizzes. Tuesday was market day in Morton so everyone went out for a wander around this charming little town. Then meeting at 3 in the clubhouse for coffee tea and the "chairmans chat" in the evening more quizzes and a raffle from which I won nothing!
Morton-in-Marsh is a lovely attractive little town with lots to see, but unfortunately now only has 1 campsite for anyone wishing to visit it, the other is now a Lidls supermarket.
All members are reminded that the yearly subscription is now due.
