M.C.C. Selected European Rallies Group (Member of F.I.C.M.)

 Members 68th. Newsletter Issued 13th. December 2012.

Hello,

This is just a newsletter to let you know that I am still here and keeping my eye on the French Clubs websites. I doubt that they are going to enter any new information before early January.

I have written to Alain Larcher asking if he has the program for the Fête de Jonquille rally

which  he is organising on behalf of Club Centre. As this is a Club rally for their own members, it could be that numbers are quite restricted and we may have to wait and see how their bookings go.

FFACCC GAMES RALLY at ORANGE.

May I remind you that if you are wanting to attend the rally at Orange you must have your payment and booking form to the Treasurer  (Nik) by  1st.January 2013. Please make sure that they are posted early enough, as we do not want them held up in any postal backlog.

So far there are 8 of our vans going.

MEUSE MADINE  13th.to 16th.June.

I am attaching the information on next year’s rally organised by the Tourist Board, CLC Motorhomes and the Magazine La Monde du Camping Car. Several of us attended this year’s event and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can read our Scribes report on our web page, it is at the end of the Italy pt.2. report. Any one who books this rally will be sent a list of trips that are available to book should you wish. As usual this is a self-book event, that means you send them your own booking form with €30.

LA CHÈZE FÊTE  14th.to 16th.Juin.

I am attaching details of a similar event (unfortunately happening at the same time as Meuse Madine) I have not attended this one before but it looks interesting. If any of you are in Brittany at this time it may give you something to think about. Again this is a self- book event.

Both the above events are organized by the local Office de Tourisme and are therefore naturally aimed at the French. Thus they may not be the best idea for first timers on their own, unless of course you have a decent understanding of the French language (as I know some of you have)

Les and I would like to wish you all  “A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY AND PTOSPEROUS NEW YEAR.”
